Go beyond traditional talk therapy.
EMDR Therapy.
You’ve tried everything you can think of to feel better, but nothing’s sticking.
Sometimes difficult experiences can remain “stuck” in the nervous system, causing anxiety, emotional triggers, negative beliefs, or relationship struggles long after the event has passed. EMDR helps the brain reprocess those experiences in a safe and structured way so healing can occur naturally.
During EMDR therapy, we work together to identify experiences, emotions, and beliefs that may still be impacting your life today. Using gentle bilateral stimulation, the brain begins to process those memories differently, often reducing emotional distress and helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered.
his form of therapy often works more quickly than traditional talk therapy alone because the bilateral eye movements help to reprogram memory storage. Research indicates that this change in the way the brain stores traumatic memories alleviates the adverse effects of trauma. It may sound a little odd, but it's quite effective.

What Is a Typical EMDR Session Like?
A typical EMDR session is structured to help you feel safe, supported, and emotionally grounded throughout the process. Therapy begins by building coping skills and creating a sense of safety before processing difficult experiences. Together, we identify memories, emotions, triggers, or negative beliefs that may still be affecting your life and relationships today. During processing, bilateral stimulation — such as eye movements, tapping, or sounds — is used while you briefly focus on the experience, allowing the brain to reprocess and integrate it in a healthier way. Many people notice shifts in emotions, body sensations, or thoughts as distress becomes less overwhelming over time. Sessions move at a pace that feels manageable for you, and each session ends with grounding and stabilization techniques to help you leave feeling supported and regulated. The goal of EMDR is not to erase memories, but to help them feel less emotionally painful so you can move through life with greater peace, connection, and emotional freedom.
